Dear Dr. Brown,
I am a recently retired UMC pastor and active retreat leader, labyrinth facilitator, and spiritual director in the East Ohio Conference. I have enjoyed your books, and in particular, your book “Paths to Prayer”. I am working on a retreat for church leaders on the topic of prayer. I very much like your “Prayer Styles Self Assessment” and wonder if it would be possible for me to use your questionnaire and self-assessment answer sheet with my group of about 30. I will be highly recommending your book to the group and it will be included on the bibliography. If you give permission to use the questionnaire/answer sheet, I will also include the source information on that as well. May I have your permission?
Your website and blogs are fantastic! I admire what you have accomplished and shared with so many people. God is obviously working through you to bring fresh life to the church and to the people. That is what I pray for our own ministry every day. I work with another person, Debbie Baker, in our” Hope Springs: Ministries for the Journey”. (www.hsprings.org).
Blessings and peace,
Carol Topping
