Dr.Brown was on the forefront of the spiritual response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. She co-authored two early books that gave practical spiritual guidance to faith-based organizations as they work with people affected by AIDS: those with the disease, family, friends, health care workers, pastors and leaders. Dr. Brown continues to speak and be an advocate in this ministry.

Mesdames, messieurs,
Salut !
Dear Sir,
Hi!!
We are a community based NGO and working in the prevention field of HIV and Aids. We have many activities on sensibilisation and fighting stigmatization. So, we organise counseling and HIV information in our office and we have other community activities: conferences, debates, forum, focus group and many discussions rounding HIV, aids and other community HIV implications. These activities are held in the areas of community associations, schools, churches, cultural organizations and so on. For this, we have created a HIV cultural centre including a library to provide and maintain community awareness on HIV/Aids (information on HIV/Aids). On this way we aim to respond to the community questions on HIV, aids and STIs. So, during we have community activities on prevention, we invite and stimulate people to come and complete their information on HIV/Aids by reading books and other sheets on HIV, aids and STIs which are in our cultural HIV centre (library). This is why we appeal to your assistance, to help us by sending us some books on HIV/Aids for our library. Access to our library is free and the centre is opened to everybody: community, pupils, students, teachers, religious leaders and members, other NGO Thank you very much for your comprehension and assistance which enables us to fight HIV and to assist community We hope to have your feedback very soon Please, the books can be written either in French or in English. Preferably in French. We are French speakers. If we can have two samples by book, it would be better
Yours,
Dr Jean-Marie Mukiese Nlunda
